SMU was proud to host a courtesy visit by the Italian Ambassador His Excellency Mr. Lorenzo Fanara and his delegation on Monday, February 4th 2019.
The program included the presentation of South Mediterranean University, and its three institutions, MSB, MedTech, and LCI and the diverse possibilities it can offer to foreign institutes of higher education with respect to academic collaboration and different forms of student and staff exchange.
His Excellency Mr. Fanara has expressed his full support to the management of SMU in an effort of exploring more opportunities for partnerships between SMU and other Italian universities.
Pr. Mahmoud Triki, founder and President of South Mediterranean University thanked the Ambassador for his visit and said that all future endeavors, with the help and guidance of the Embassy of Italy, will bring mutually beneficial results in building further bridges between Tunisia and Italy in the realm of high-quality tertiary education.
