More about Jean Michel Dalle :
Jean-Michel Dalle has been the Managing Director of Agoranov, one of France’s leading science-based incubators, since 2003, and a Full Professor at Pierre and Marie Curie (UPMC) University since 2006.
Over the past decade, Agoranov’s incubation and acceleration program has given birth to more than 250 innovative startups, among which success stories Critéo (listed on the NASDAQ), Anevia and Pixium (listed on Euronext) and Aldebaran Robotics. These companies altogether represent more than 3 500 active jobs and have raised 300 M€ from private investors.
As an academic, M. Dalle teaches the economics and management of innovation and entrepreneurship and he has been involved in various research projects dedicated to observing and characterizing organizations and innovations, sponsored by grants from the French ANR and CNRS, the European Commission, the NSF in the USA and private corporations.
M. Dalle holds Masters’ degrees from Ecole Polytechnique (1991, engineering), ENSAE (1993, statistics), EHESS (1993, economics) and a PhD in economics (Ecole Polytechnique, 1997). He is a former Visiting Fellow of All Souls College at the University of Oxford and currently a Director of RETIS, France’s national association of technology parks and incubators.
