Dr. Mohamed Amine Ben Sassi
Ph.D. University of Grenoble, FRANCE Assistant professor,
Mediterranean Institute of Technology

It was during my first Post-doc in Colorado that I heard about MedTech: the first English speaking university in Tunisia that offers an engineering computer programs like the one given by many prestigious American universities such as Michigan. I took the advantage of my first vacation to go there and visit the institute. I immediately realized that it is the right place for me once back in order to contribute to the Tunisian education system.

Now, as Assistant professor in Medtech and part of the computer engineering program, I can guaranty that it is also the right place for you if you are an ambitious student desiring to build a strong theoretical background together with practical problem solving abilities.

Assistant professor, Mediterranean Institute of Technology

Information Technology (IT) invades all engineering fields. Programs in Medtech are IT-oriented and online with the American Education system based on Innovation and creativity. Following a project-based curriculum, our students have the opportunity to reach an international engineering level with a fluent English speaking skills. My commitment is to inspire them towards this high qualified level and to afford them an excellent IT knowledge.

MedTech student, Computer Engineering

I’ve always been planning to study in English after getting my Baccalaureate. When I first heard of MedTech, I was excited and I decided to apply. The school offers a very interesting yet challenging curriculum. After my two pre-engineering years, I decided to follow the Computer Systems major; I can say that the American system is very rewarding and the school’s facilities are top level.

MedTech offers a one of a kind 3+2 joint diploma program in partnership with the University of Michigan, one of the top Engineering schools in the world. This opportunity has made all the students, myself included, work hard for a chance to reach this goal and continue our studies there to obtain a double diploma Engineering/Master.

Student testimony

I had my Baccalaureate with Honors from the" Pères Blancs "high school. I did not originally plan to join a private university, but because I did not get the choice of university I was hoping for, I decided to explore other opportunities. I heard about MedTech as the only English Speaking Engineering school in Tunisia. When I visited the campus, I was fascinated by the Laboratories and infrastructure.
That is how I decided to join MedTech and I do not regret it! I benefit from a unique study experience especially that it will allow me to enroll in the Renewable Energies specialization.

Professor testimony

We are proud to have the 3+2 partnership program with MedTech. It is a graduate master’s cooperation degree between MedTech and the University of Michigan. We offer at the University of Michigan multiple options for MedTech students (such as Computer Information Science, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering), so they could choose and pursue their Master degree at the specialization that they want. Moreover, they are offered the possibility to continue a Ph.D program at the University of Michigan.
