The Master in Cyber Security will be organized jointly with the Department of Informatics Engineering – University of Coimbra www.uc.pt/en/fctuc/dei (DEI-UC, Portugal) through the collaborative educational agreement of dual diploma.
Fundamental courses of the master program will operate on blended-learning with the existing program contents and educational platform of the Master in Informatics Security of DEI-UC www.uc.pt/en/fctuc/dei/COURSES/MSI. The theoretical classes will take place, preferably, Thursday and Friday afternoon and Saturday morning. Theoretical classes will also be broadcast by teleconference and will be recorded to allow the students to follow the classes remotely. Associated practical classes (application of theoretical concepts in projects) will be preferably booked in synchronization with DEI-UC. The practical assignments may also be developed by the students in remote and asynchronous mode with remote or face-to-face support from the teachers.
MEDTECH and DEI-UC have decided to undertake student exchanges leading to a dual diploma. The exchange program should take place during the 2nd year of the total study program, which corresponds to a Master Course according to the Bologna Process. In order to obtain the dual diploma, MED-TECH students must complete the 2nd year of their advanced studies in DEI-UC (host institution) including the Final Term Project/Master Thesis.
