Within the rapidly expanding renewable energy industry, an urgent need exists for engineers capable of solving the industry’s complex challenges in this field. The Mediterranean Institute of Technology has developed the country’s first and only English-speaking engineering program in renewable-energy technologies.

The program provides students with the knowledge and skills to develop and implement creative solutions to the problems encountered in renewable energy capture, conversion, storage and management.

I had my baccalaureate diploma with Honors (14.5/20) from “Lycée Menzah 9”. My “orientation” result was ISG, Tunis, but I felt like Management wasn’t my cup of tea, then I heard about MedTech in an Education Fair (“Perspectives”). As English is the key to International Opportunities, I decided to join the only English speaking university in Tunisia.

The quality of the professors and their attentiveness really impressed me, and I am very enthusiastic to follow the Renewable Energies Engineering major. MedTech is the only institution in Tunisia to offer a degree in this important and cutting-edge area of engineering. The Renewable energy’s curriculum covers plenty of areas of alternative energy sources, energy efficiency, energy services, facilities management, plant engineering, and environmental compliance.

I had my Baccalaureate with Honors from the" Pères Blancs "high school. I did not originally plan to join a private university, but because I did not get the choice of university I was hoping for, I decided to explore other opportunities. I heard about MedTech as the only English Speaking Engineering school in Tunisia. When I visited the campus, I was fascinated by the Laboratories and infrastructure.
That is how I decided to join MedTech and I do not regret it! I benefit from a unique study experience especially that it will allow me to enroll in the Renewable Energies specialization.

We are proud to have the 3+2 partnership program with MedTech. It is a graduate master’s cooperation degree between MedTech and the University of Michigan. We offer at the University of Michigan multiple options for MedTech students (such as Computer Information Science, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering), so they could choose and pursue their Master degree at the specialization that they want. Moreover, they are offered the possibility to continue a Ph.D program at the University of Michigan.
