MedTech is one of the few places in Tunisia where teaching is equally based on high academic standards on one hand and the continuously rising demands of the job market on the other. As a Mathematics and Computer Science teacher, I try not only to train hands-on engineers, but also to foster creative minds and curious individuals.

I thrive on giving my students in-depth knowledge of theoretical foundations alongside a set of technical skills and a broad understanding of various complex fields, encouraging them to sharpen their minds and prepare for their future.

Last year, I was registered in the preparatory program for “Les Grandes Ecoles”. And, because MedTech accepts students who meet the admission requirements whatever their backgrounds, I am now following a completely different academic and career path.

The transition from the French to the American education system was a radical change for me. At MedTech, students engage in a unique learning experience where they can develop their autonomy and creativity in a stress-free environment. Moreover, MedTech is literally opening new doors to fascinating international opportunities by giving students the chance to continue their education at the University of Michigan, one of the top-ranked universities in the U.S.

I had my baccalaureate in 2014 with distinction (18.11) from the Sfax Pioneer School. I hesitated at first about what to choose as an orientation so I chose the preparatory program for “Les Grandes Ecoles” at ESPRIT. I studied there for 1 year before I heard of MedTech as the first English speaking Engineering school.

I decided to jump on the opportunity and join this prestigious university with highly qualified professors holding PhDs and applying a North-American educational pedagogy. I wanted to pursue my studies at MedTech to obtain a Diploma in Renewable Energy Engineering. I am really impressed with the quality of the training as it is established with a lot of project-based learning that will prepare us for a global career.

Student testimony

I had my Baccalaureate with Honors from the" Pères Blancs "high school. I did not originally plan to join a private university, but because I did not get the choice of university I was hoping for, I decided to explore other opportunities. I heard about MedTech as the only English Speaking Engineering school in Tunisia. When I visited the campus, I was fascinated by the Laboratories and infrastructure.
That is how I decided to join MedTech and I do not regret it! I benefit from a unique study experience especially that it will allow me to enroll in the Renewable Energies specialization.

Professor testimony

We are proud to have the 3+2 partnership program with MedTech. It is a graduate master’s cooperation degree between MedTech and the University of Michigan. We offer at the University of Michigan multiple options for MedTech students (such as Computer Information Science, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering), so they could choose and pursue their Master degree at the specialization that they want. Moreover, they are offered the possibility to continue a Ph.D program at the University of Michigan.

Basically, at Medtech, our engineering programs are inspired from the Anglo-Saxon/American approach to higher education, which allows an international exposure to our students.
Thanks to this partnership agreement, we are giving our students the option to continue their engineering experience in the United States so that they extend their chances for a brilliant future career.
